Hello readers!
The past few days I've been pretty focused on setting up this blog and kept wondering what the first post should be about. Then yesterday I was talking to someone about crocheting and she was getting excited and telling me about some bunting she'd seen that she loved. It was just a basic traditional triangle bunting, but she adored it.
So I was looking at buntings and garlands last night after talking about them and that's when I came up with the idea of doing a roundup of patterns as my first post! Roundups are great, right? I mean, it's a good way to kick things off at least.
So without further ado;
1. This traditional bunting from Pink Milk is a simple pattern that can be modified easily! So simple, so beautiful!
2. Seriously though, who doesn't need a Pizza Garland in their life?! And Twinkie Chan's is the best.
3. Attic24 is amazing at all things crochet, and this granny square take on bunting is no exception! You could make every row a different colour for the brightest bunting yet!
4. A la Sascha's beautiful doily garland is a definite must-make! Very vintage inspired.
5. Next up is a wonderful bunting from Spincushions. This could be made in any colour to match any room!
6. Ah! This is so adorable. I cannot wait to get started on this strawberry bunting found on Ravelry!
7. This mini flower garland from Silly Old Suitcase would fit perfectly in any room! The colour combinations are endless.
8. This is one of the cutest buntings I have seen! Red Heart's baby bunting would look perfect in a nursery.
9. I am definitely going to have to make this vintage looking Dahlia Doily garland from Love City. It is incredibly pretty!
10. This crochet star bunting by Ruby & Custard mixes the pretty with the traditional. How lovely?!
I hope these might inspire someone; I can't wait to get started on these! I don't know where they're going to go, but I'm going to make them - my house will be full of bunting!
